Hall's refreshing and concise approach to this disease as fixable in a short period of time gives one hope that the Western medical community may, some day, wake up to the critical importance of food as medicine. The author makes it clear that "fixing" the problem isn't easy (and, yes, drinking a gallon of water and multiple glasses of carrot juice a day could be a challenge), but -- he tells us -- it might be preferable to dropping dead.
