I'm glad that I took the time to read The Stress Eating Cure for myself. I have read this book from cover to cover. I have come to the conclusion that the authors have updated their previous works (books). I have always felt that I lost weight faster when my carb meal was consumed earlier in the day. The authors have validated this theory in their latest book. This book merely changes the higher carb meal to early or late morning. All subsequent meals are truly low carb. The term reward meal is missing. Breakfast doesn't not require that one start the meal with a salad or have a time limit. Everyone happy and content within the previous books of Rachel and Richard Heller should not blast this new edition because the authors have updated their work to reflect the fact that there are different needs for different types of stress eaters. If you are not a stress eater then don't shoot the messengers. There are persons who could benefit from this book if more people would open their eyes...

This is my first time to read one of their books. I have a problem with stress eating and carbs and a friend told me about the book. It had a lot of good information about the problem of stress eating and the whole time I was reading I thought will it just be another no or low carb diet. By the end that is what it was.

I already eat a healthy breakfast and try to eat organic and healthier dinners but they usually include pasta, rice, or a healthy homemade soups but they have small potatoes along with veges in them. According to their book, I can only eat the way I have been once in a while for a special occasion and have to learn to have protein and veges for all lunches and dinners. And no wine except rarely.
