One of the most enlightening book about health that I have read in a long time. If the bureaucrats and doctors running our health care administration were open minded and interested enough to read and digest this book most (probably all) of our problems with our uncontrollably increasing health care costs could be solved for good. This is because as history has amply proven, the solution is not more of the same (or a slightly improved version of the same non-functional system with the totally wrong set of incentives) but a new paradigm, and a new system based on the new paradigm. This book could help us to formulate that badly needed new health care paradigm. But only if we want to listen.
