Most Underlined Buyer Review : Easy to understand, engaging and straightforward ASD Info
I really like the manner in which this book is written. Mr. Le Blanc clearly has a lot to get across and he has an easy to understand, engaging and straightforward writing style. After reading many medical books on the subject I found this book to be better especially if you are new to this diagnosis. It really explains everything in lay person terms. I found a wealth of information in this book and I especially found the chapters on vitamins, supplements and diet to be very thorough as were all the chapters on the various treatments that are available. I had heard the term "leaky gut" quite a bit and finally understand what this means. The chapters on school and home recommendations is very thorough and I appreciated the part of the book at the end where the author discusses the progression of Autism Spectrum Disorder from toddlerhood to adulthood as it gave me a perspective of the future that I had not found anywhere else. Five Stars! Recommended.

Other Purchaser Saying
Amazing Book!!!
This book is amazing, I have learned a lot from it. Now I understand the condition better. I am happy to know that even if some people are suffering from autism and Asperger's Syndrome, these 2 conditions are treatable. With the right methods and proper approach, they can still live happy and productive lives. :)

An Easy to Understand Book on Autism
I found this book on Autism easy to read and understand.

The author, Raymond LeBlanc clearly has a deep understanding of Autism and its related disorders, but he brings it down to a level in this book that doesn't require a PHD to understand. Leblanc tackles each part of the book into 'easy to digest' small chapters - not too overwhelming, not too vague.

I particulary learned a lot from the chapters on how families can better help and cope with a child with Autism - and also the siblings of that child as well. The chapter on Autism "Red Flags" gives a handy little list that can be referred back to easily if Autism is suspected in a child. Additionally, the chapter on how to deal with Autism in school was extremely helpful. By having a better understanding of how children with Autism learn, the book gives helpful suggestions on how both parents and teachers alike can help children with Autism learn.

If you or someone you know is suspected of having...
